March 2010 saw the launch of Bradford’s annual Film festival. Our e2e learners got the chance to enter a competition to make a short film which addressed the theme ‘Made in Bradford’, with cash prizes to be won. The excitement came from knowing that all entries would be screened during the International Bradford Film Festival.
After the hard work of brainstorming ideas, preparation and filming, the finished film was screened as part of The Peoples Cinema located at the Bradford Playhouse. It gave the chance for the students and their tutors to watch their own film on a large screen accompanied by an audience. It also gave the chance for the Foyer to see other entries in the competition.
The City of film will be holding an award ceremony late spring where 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be given at the event.
Take a look at a few of the pictures on the Foyer Facebook Group of the students in production and at the film festival. The short film will be uploaded very soon!
